Its been some years since I attended one of my class reunions. Partly because I didn’t know about them and partly because its hard to get a conversation started with people that I haven’t talked with or seen in years.
The sharing of what has happened in your life can be told in about five minutes and once everybody has told all their somewhat boring stories-what else is there to do?
I know, I know, its catching up with people you haven’t seen in eons and trying to recapture some of that essence of being in High School, but guess what you can never really go back. Back then when you were a size 5 and no worries or bills to worry about, the world was your oyster to explore. Too bad life doesn’t turn out the way you dream and envision it to be.
My class reunion is this year-no I am not saying how many years it has been. J Let’s just say its more than 5 years and less than 50 years-take a guess. How embarrassing it would be to recognize a face but not recall the persons name-that would be me and it has happened before. I always wonder how many of us have grown wiser and grown gracefully as we became older. Seeing old boyfriends and or girlfriends can be fun, just hoping that the ones putting it all together choose to have it in a fun city and place.
Well here is hoping it will be fun, exciting and different from whence my class graduated from Allen Carver High School.
